Is Basic free forever?+
Yes. Basic is free with no time limit — enough to try AZTools and use it lightly. Upgrade only when you need more tools, storage, or features like AI and public sharing.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?+
Go to Settings → Billing in the app. Pick a new plan — changes apply on your billing cycle. You can move back to Basic anytime; your data stays.
How do I pay?+
Pro and Business are billed in USD by international card (Visa, Mastercard…). Choose monthly or annual billing — annual saves about 17%.
Can limits change?+
Each plan has clear limits (tools, storage, API…). Check usage anytime under Settings → Usage. We may adjust limits over time but will notify you in advance.
If I cancel a paid plan, do I lose my data?+
No. When a paid plan ends, your account returns to Basic and your data remains. If you're over Basic limits, you can still view — you just can't create new items until you upgrade or clean up.
Do AI and email cost extra?+
The AI assistant uses your own API keys (BYOK) — token costs go to your AI provider. Email sends through SMTP/API you configure. AZTools only limits how much you can use those features per plan.
Try free before you decide
Stay on Basic as long as you like. Upgrade when your workload grows — downgrade or cancel anytime.
